Honoring the world's most beloved burger, the Big Mac Museum Restaurant is actually located inside a working McDonalds, so you can test out the burger for yourself even as you learn about its creation and successful history. Invented in 1967 in a franchise in Uniontown, around 40 miles south of the museum, the Big Mac's creator was Jim Delligatti and the museum was opened by his family. See items like a Big Mac toaster, the World's Largest Big Mac statue and a lineup of Big Mac wrappers from its early days through the most recent incarnation. Located just off the highway near Norwin Hills Shopping Center, the museum is a great stop for any hungry, burger-loving traveler heading southeast from Pittsburgh.
Open daily 5:00 a.m. - midnight.
